An-Nisa
100+ Inspiring Stories of Muslim Women Heroes
What Does An-Nisa Mean?
An-Nisa means 'The Women'.
The name comes from the 4th chapter of the Qur'an, or Islam's holy book.
Our Mission
On the Internet and in our local community, we discovered that there was a lack of information about inspiring Muslim women role models. This discovery led us to scour the web looking for information about Muslim figures who changed the world. We wanted to find role models not just for us but for anyone who wants to dream big. We believe that everyone, especially young Muslim kids like ourselves, should be able to find this information in an organized and easy to understand way. We hope that by creating An-Nisa for our Girl Scout Silver Award project, we can educate youth around the world about these amazing people.
